Pastoral Services
Social workers see patients at the time of admission and attempt to understand each person’s family structure or needs. If patients are admitted our full-time chaplains attempt to see all patients to determine if there are any spiritual or emotional needs. Doctors and Chaplains are willing to pray with patients if this is their desire. During times of grief or loss chaplains will counsel patients or families. Social workers can make contact with your village chief or church leaders so they are aware of your admission and any needs you may have. Chaplains do come to the wards and outpatient departments to lead in worship services that can be uplifting and provide patients and families with support.
