Surgical Services

Presently we have four specialist surgeons on staff and have a surgeon on call for emergencies 24 hours daily. Our staff includes Dr Bill Rhodes an American trained and Board-certified general surgeon who also has additional speciality certification in plastics and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Patricia Chesang is a PAACS trained general surgeon and Dr. Joyce Lunar is a PAACS trained orthopedic specialist. Dr Kimberley Walhof is an American trained Obstetrcian Gynecologist serving the surgical needs of women in the region. Later in 2022 we will be adding to our surgical staff Dr. Zeke Rhodes and Dr Celeste Adriaan who are both American trained general surgeons with interest in laparscopic surgery. Additionally we will be joined by Dr Niles Batdorf an American trained Plastics and Reconstructive specialist with additional training in hand surgery. This growing surgical department will be able to serve the region with general surgery including a particular interest in thyroid surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery (fully covered by Smile Train Funding), a large range of reconstructive surgeries, orthopedic surgery including complex fracture treatment and also hip/knee replacement.
